More retro lowpoly models: littlenorwegians.deviantart.co…Not as happy with this one as the other models, but I went more experimental.
It's strange that skeletons are so commonplace in fantasy settings, but it's always cleanly picked human skeletons.
I decided to take an animal, but have it still seem a bit bloody. Perhaps I go too far, heh.
At any rate, made in Blender. Was fun to do and even if every model isn't top notch, I learn.

I like how the chain-mail skirt is sliding off the hip bones and the arrow ridden back, nice bit of subtle story telling there~
If anything I think the model might look a bit off balance, like he's about to fall forward, but that's really just a posing thing.

All the objects are on one UV. 256x256 in size and it was quite spacious.
Texture painted in Blender which makes the process much easier. Adjusting a little here and there.

I am currently working on another game project.
But I think this is kinda cool to experiment with and refine so that when the day does come I start a game project, I got a better understanding of the artstyle I want to go for.
