A piece for my experimental media class. ♡This is made entirely out of cut paper.
(It took 3 hours just to place the scales!)
..My favorite from this entire year!

What kind of paper is it made out of? o_o It looks more like a type of seashell, like the kind they make jewelry out of, you know what I mean?

Mhm!! It's Japanese/decorative paper, it had pieces of foil in it.
It's a little more delicate than regular paper, but still pretty durable.

i know how you feel about placing the scales, in my art class we had to design a day of the dead skull using only fake flower petals in rows. Very good job ^^
