So i'm extremely proud of how this shading came out! I'm not THRILLED with the background, but it will do :3I had soooo much fun expirimenting with lighting and shading c:

Well now, first I have to say this is really beautiful! The character just seems so happy being able to fly and all! The colour combination you used was genius. Especially the orange background to go with the soft browns of the character along with complimenting the blue hues of the wings. I was a very smart colour choice!
At first glance this picture is INCREDIBLE, but because I am writing a critique, I can't exactly overlook everything. I truthfully kinda find the lighter lineart of the wings distracting. If you wanted to show the feathers you would have been better off if you use highlights and layer them on until you got the look you wanted.
The positioning of the front paws is wonderful, but I also find that where the paw bends may be a BIT too thin. Then again, that COULD just be me, lol!
Again, I love this piece. The colours are wonderful and I LOVE the expression. The shading is next to perfect and the background is very simple but effective. You did a VERY good job on this! Great work e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
