Description
"Grr, yet again here you are, at my castle, plunging my people into worry and fear! What do you want
this time?!", the Prince of the Pi'illo angrily shouted to the little flying bat which grinned maniacally. With a
screeching chuckle, this bat transformed and revealed itself to be Antasma, the "King of Bats".
Floating before the Prince, his lanky arms raised a bit as he looked down.
"Vell, Dreambert... I haff come here for a certain... reason... "
The Pi'illo narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists, one of which was covered by an orange-white glove up to the elbow.
He tried to stay as composed as possible when he asked the bat once again what purpose his appearance had.
With a smirk, Antasma leaned his tall scrawny figure over Dreambert, looming over the small Pi'illo to look him
straight into his teal blue eyes. "Purpose? SCREEK, heheh, oh Dreambert... haff you not guessed it yet?", he taunted as he
reached his claw out and pointed at the Prince's gloved hand. Dreambert's eyes twitched for a moment noticing
from the corner of his eyes what the bat king had pointed at but he didn't break eye contact.
His expression remained stern. "What do you mean?", was slowly and with a slight hint of anger brought across his
lips. Antasma let a slight growl, his grin disappearing for a moment.
"Vhat I mean!... My master has briefly mentioned something that I vanted to take a closer look at... You know exactly
VHAT I mean! SCREEE!" He went back to grinning again. Dreambert barely winced at the bat's constant shrieking.
"Don't tell me you haff forgotten vhat happened to you after your little... foolishness as a child? SCREE!"
With that, the bat king started laughing. Making Dreambert frown and step back slightly... Hiding his arm a little by
moving it to the side and covering it with his other.
Slowly, he finished his laugh and wiped a played tear away from one of his piercing yellow eyes.
"Oooooh yess... How humorous! I haff been informed about this, Dreambert!" Another chuckle, and he looked down at the
Prince who was still hiding his arm. Antasma closed his eyes halfway and slowly formed another smirk.
"You... are hiding an interesting power, aren't you? Vell... tell me or don't, Dreambert...", he leaned down again before
he continued talking, and again he pointed at the arm, "...but I vill get vhat I vant... Maybe I vill use your... interesting
power to make everything a hellish nightmare... and claim the throne... Or I vill use a different method, vho knows!"
The Prince of the Pi'illo narrowed his eyes again. "You can try, Antasma... but it will never happen."
"SCREE, ve vill see, Dreambert!...Ve vill see!" And with another almost menacing laugh, Antasma transformed back into
his little bat form and flew on his way with the wind.
Following him with his eyes until he was out of sight, Dreambert heavily sighed and rubbed his arm, grasping it
tightly. "Your majesty...", sounded from behind him, an old voice, his adviser Eldream. With a short glance over his
shoulder, the Pi'illo Prince closed his eyes and shook his head slightly. With a frown of his bushy eyebrows, the old
Pi'illo floated over to him and put his hand on his shoulder. "It will be all right, my Prince..."
"...I hope so.", he uttered with another heavy sigh.

Heyyyyyy people!

So, bad news first. Tomorrow school starts again. Nyay. IC
But! I've spent this day drawing this because of, well, yesterday I've just simply decided that I want to give
Dreambert a little backstory, more personality than he already has (since I did play him once in one of my RPs,
even if just for a short time -w-) and I generally came up with a nice idea, as I think.

The glove, as mentioned in the short story above and seen in the picture itself hides and contains a certain interesting
power as Antasma has called it. Pi'illo are the keepers of the Dreamworld, and they watch over the Dream Stone and
the Dark Stone. While the Dream Stone is kept deep within the Dozing Sands Desert, the darker of the two, the Dark Stone
is safely kept within the Pi'illo Castle, away from evil grasp. Now, like I've said the Pi'illo are the keeper of the Dreamworld,
so it'd be natural or logically to assume that certain selected Pi'illo (or with enough training) can also give dreams upon
others.
Heh, now, I'll leave you wondering what this "interesting power" could be until I upload another drawing of what hides
beneath Dreambert's glove :3 Since it seemingly bothers the fluffy little Prince it can't be something good... But one thing

I'll tell you; He sees it as a curse rather than an interesting power.

Ahem, now, about the picture XD I actually really love how this came out, I've updated Antasma's and Dreambert's design
a bit once again, and I'm genuinely happy with the result. And I've JUST noticed this! But I made Dreambert's hair look like
feathers! Haha get it? 'Cause he's a Pi'illo... a pillow... ahehehe...heh...hm :I XD

I hope you like it! And stay tuned XD I'll be slower with drawing 'cause school but no worries, it'll go okay!
