I agree but it seems like Abrams might being going for an, "it's happened before will happen again" vibe and to be honest watching millenial's reaction, (especially the shippers) if she is will be interesting.

I suspect Rey is Luke's daughter too because she kind of acts like him and I think it would be sweet for Luke to have a daughter. Plus, it would help explain why Luke became so depressed and isolated himself for so long; he lost his daughter and thought she was dead. Apparently, Kylo recognized Rey, which would make sense if she was his cousin and they trained and grew up together.

I also think that Kylo is the one who left her on Jakku, because he couldn't bring himself to kill her like he did the other padawans. He seems very hesitant to hurt her throughout the movie. I think Rey is the reason he still feels the pull to the light, because he still really loves and cares about his cousin.

Yeah, I've heard that theory too. She had a vision where he (I think it was Kylo) attacked one of the other Knights of Ren, which makes sense if he was trying to protect her. I've also heard the theory that it is actually a vision of the future. Even when she said that Luke was a myth, it seems that she was pretty young when she was placed on Jakku so it's possible she doesn't remember him, which would be really sad because that would mean she think her father is a myth. Plus, it kind of looks like Luke recognizes her at the end. Rey might be able to pull Luke out of his depression. Let's just hope he doesn't pull an Obi-Wan and let himself get killed in front Rey.

I noticed that look of recognition Luke gives Rey. He also looks very sad, like he knows who she is and what she's gone through and what she means to him.
