Those are the best gingerbread cookies I've ever seen. Plus, I bet they taste awesome, but not as awesome as cake. Which is a lie. Ok I'm done.

That sounds great! I found some pictures on the internet, printed them and used them as templates when cutting the shapes out. I also used the pictures as references when putting on the icing.
A tip: Moving the cookies from the workspace to the baking tray without distorting their shape turned out to be a bit of a challenge, so if you want to keep the proper shape of the cookies I suggest that you cut them out directly on the baking tray. That way you don't have to move them before they are finished.

Ah! So smart! Yeah! I'm sure mine won't turn out as pretty as yours haha, but I'll work on it. Honestly, I've never made gingerbread cookies, only gingersnaps haha. Maybe I can get a friend to help me out! I'll make sure to post them when I finish though, of course, I have to go out and find a good recipe now...can't be too hard!

Well, I just cut out some pictures i had found on the internet, then I put the pieces of paper on the dough and cut along the edges.
