A plushie portraying the character Makar from the Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker. Inside is a little bell making the same sound Makar does when he moves around in the game.Credit goes to kaybee2 for making the pattern I used for Makar's body and leaf. [link]

I made the pattern myself, by looking at a picture of Makar's violin. The bell is just an ordinary round jingle bell with a separate metal marble inside.

Did you modify the pattern in anyway cause I've tried to make this plushie about 4 times and each time it turns out looking wonky

When I did this plushie, I used the pattern made by kaybee2 to begin with, but I modified the pattern a little as the work proceeded and when i thought it was necessary. I made the things on the top of his head a little pointier, for example. Then, the shape changed a bit by itself through the different steps, like when I cut out the pieces of fabric and when i sewed them together.
I am looking forward to seeing your plushie when it is finished!

This looks fantastic! To me, Makar always looked to be super huggable and you just made him extra adorable. Plus, it's a nice touch that you added the bell to make him jingle. I loved that so much in the game.

You're right, when you think about it, it's pretty obvious that a Makar plushie should jingle.

This is great; you got the shape of his body cut perfectly and the ragged fabric gives a perfect impression of bark. I find it especially cool that you went to the trouble of adding a bell; that's such a little detail that goes a long way towards faithfulness to the source.
