Description
this will be the cover of my next short story titled: BROKEN. I have to learn how to clean drawings digitally. I appreciate any help you want to give me ^_^I have to learn again what I have already forgotten about traditional artwork. argh....

well, I must admit that I really enjoyed the final episode, because of the emotions involved: betray your best friend who saved your life twice. the pain of being forsaken for your masters who are supposed to protect you (except anakin). but, I want to know what will happen with barriss in her heart. and I want to put that feelings in my short story 'Broken'.
but we are lucky in a certain way: lucas wanted ahsoka dead, and filoni did not.

I know what you mean. It just felt so out of character. I listened to a podcast reviewing the episode and they said Filoni was in an interview talking about deciding who the Mastermind would be. After going through a list, it came down to Yaddle and Barriss. Naturally, the story has a bigger impact with Barriss. Maybe I'm just an oldschool fanboy, but I felt like Barriss lost a coin toss or something. Still, I know the relief people had for Ahsoka. It just stung the way they did it. Ahsoka will be safe, but now Barriss' story is all messed up. Worse, her character will be vilified in opinion forums after a solid record of being a stable Jedi in the EU. I guess I take my heroes too seriously. Barriss became a favorite character in my writings over the past 6 years, I thought of her as a solid character in my fiction. So, yeah, I want to know how what will be resolved with her.
I tell people the worst part of this is going to wookiepedia and seeing words like "Psychopath" and "Treacherous" used to describe the character. I know, I'll get over it. *shrug* I'm just still in shock. Maybe they will suprise us

about the debate between barriss and yaddle, I will quote a dialogue that I remember from the movie JAWS: 'If you yell yaddle, the fans will say "huh, what?", but if you yell Barriss, we'll gotta panic from all the fans in our hands...'
Unfortunately, the end of the season wouldn't have had the same impact if yaddle was the culprit. besides, in my opinion, barriss has not fallen into the dark side entirely; there's something missing about her.

You're right, she didn't fall entirely like Count Dooku. And using Barriss probably did more for the story than I am willing to admit. I'm just as curious for the missing details. A lot of theories say it's the brain worms, but time will tell.
One good thing this episode did for me was push me to finish some unfinished story work. I would never have bothered to post my Star Wars stories on DA if I hadn't become shocked by this.
Could be worse. You should have seen how mad I was at the New Battlestar Galactica a few years back, lol. But I will calm down. The writing and reading other fiction works has been good catharsis. And if they resolve her story before a complete cancellation, reveal some secrets, I can accept that and move on without being such a babbling fan.

All this talk about the Barriss plot twist kind of reminds me of when Wash and Shepherd died in the "Serenity" movie. I knew there was probably not going to be any more Firefly even before those moments. I think I sobbed and held back tears back then just as much as when I stumbled upon the Season 5 finale

It's a little story about what happened after ahsoka left the jedi order. It's ahsoka and barriss' feelings about how deeply barriss' treason affected their friendship.

Like a fan-story getting back together. I look forward reading it. Nowadays I need something positive about Ahsoka and Barris, with the supposed cancellation of the show.

I need something positive too, Barricade. Or at least some kind of resolution. The story made no sense. Barriss betraying Ahsoka makes as much sense as Spock betraying Kirk or some equivelant.
