Rim light on the beast is awesome. The guy getting stabbed is positioned kinda funny though. Seems like hes a little static. Awesome work

love the way you sketch paint scenes like this, It sort of adds a motion blur to the image, makes the viewer feel like they are there! the warm lighting from the top contrasted to the cold blue marines on the bottom really ties this piece so well!!!!!!

Kinda reminds me of Half Life 2 in the prison when you have to fight those huge brute insect things. A lot of people are mentioning starship troopers, too, but I see no similarities except the premise that they hunted and killed insect enemies.

I like the atmosphere of the painting, the style and the situation of image could be from a Sci Fi book.
Some how your style brings to my mind the sketch drawings from the Lord of The Rings movie trilogy.
The lightning of the image is planned very cool way, it shows that those troopers were set an ambush to the alien creature. I see it that way because part of those troopers are hiding in shadows.
Great talent with a huge imagination.
