While I am not familiar with the show the colours while on the duller side do compliment each other very well and work well to evoke a more cooler personality from the character. The looks convey in my mind a dangerous personal while his posing suggests a confidence, causing a combined effect to create a smugly confident character. The hair is well drawn, much better than anything I could ever do, although the one gripe I have is the torso appears a tad small, but that could be due to the style and how the character is drawn, just to me his head looks a tad big next to his body. However it is only a slight difference and a minor gripe.

I'm not familiar with the anime but he sure looks very cocky and confident - that's what I think of him based on his appearance ^^
