Regardless of the scuffles in the family that arose from her parents' actions, they still loved her. Eventually, the couple had two more children, and all five were a close-knit family.

She was taught by her parents to be polite and kind to people no matter what, and to follow the golden rule. She was an awkward child, and she never knew how to reach out to the other children. It wasn't until a new transfer had come in was when she eventually became close to someone. It happened around her third year of elementary school It took a couple of months to get acquainted with the transfer— who'd been well-liked by the class by then. The two had gotten closer and closer, until the two were basically insperable. It wasn't until the other people in her class had called her selfish for keeping the transfer to herself where things had started going rough for her.

It was innocent teasing at first— talking how she clung so closely onto the transfer, telling her that she should probably go get better friends.
