New self portrait. I think it looks better than the last one; although I haven't even finished the lineart stage, I like it at this stage enough to post now.

I would like to maybe draw another AoT themed one, but now that I'm caught up, idk ... I think, I'd muchhhh rather be a Marleyan Warrior than a Paradisian Scout, but I feel uncomfortable drawing myself in the Marleyan uniform. The Eldians aren't a real race, and more groups than just the Jews during the holocaust wore arm bands, but I still feel it's uncomfortable and not my place. I still don't know whether or not I find the arm bands problematic from a design standpoint ... they do make me uncomfortable, but I think that AoT is kinda supposed to make readers/viewers uncomfortable ... XD I think, if I have any issue at all with AoT, it's that it's not intended, seemingly, to be based on Germany's relationship with the Jews in WW2 (I think it's more post-war Japan and America tbh) but the holocaust allegories were so heavy handed that some elements of the story which make perfect sense in context and are certainly not problematic, look that way ... for example, the Tyburs and Reisses being "rich Jews" who "secretly control" their nations. It certainly wasn't intended this way, and said trope is common in Japanese media, but ... I understand why some were a little surprised. Without stopping to examine the context of the story, some parts of AoT look a bit strange on the surface.

Er, speaking of the Tyburs, I also don't want to do another AoT self portrait because if it were to be completely real and I wasn't in a uniform, I might just look like Lara XD Lmao. It isn't an issue because I love her a lot, but it might be odd
