Great job!! Here are my suggestions. I like how dark you made her pupils, but to kind of balance the drawing, I think the darkest points of the shadow under her jaw, between her hand and hair, somewhere in the space between her lips, and inside the darkest point in the nostril should be as black as you made the pupil. There are also other small areas where you could have gone darker for more depth. I would also suggest smoother blending on the dark areas, and more blending in the hair so it doesn't just look like pencil strokes. I try to soften my hairs by blending them a little with a blending stump.

I would do it layer by layer. I would usually start out with my mechanical pencil, then maybe put on some 5B then some 8B. However, most of the time I skip that altogether and use my charcoal pencil for the really dark areas because it's pretty easy to blend it out for me.
