Description Heh. I didn't think I'd be entering this contest, but inspiration struck late last night.
Must be the Animatrix DVD I was watching. So, tada! Last minute entry for "For the Love of Singing" contest. Hopefully it gives you flashbacks of the first episode. ^_^

I had planned to put blurred people walking around him and maybe Shuichi's music sheets flying around, but the composition is crowded enough as it is (...and I'm lazy ... and I'm running out of time).

Lyrics are:

The whisper that dissolves into the bustling crowd
makes the memories scattered underfoot blur together.
The blazing of the street where I walk about lost (glaring one way)
illuminates me as coldly as though it freezes.


Weird thing though, the fansub and the animelyrics website had different translations for the song. -_-

Well, if this didin't sit in my message box forever to be commented on! I kept it in there, because I really wanted to comment on the eyes. I know nothing about the character, but it's just his golden eyes that really caught my attention..you did a great job, they're somehow really captivating. @@ I like how the world around him is blurred with his lyrics, aswell. Very nifty effect. *Sits and stares at*

This is gorgeous!! Well, anything with Eiri Yuki is gorgeous! :lov:
The blurring background reminds of one of the movie special effects. I like how you use the yellow so Yuki can be the main focus.

...Hate to jump on the bandwagon here, but, oh wow, you did an amazing job on his eyes! @_@ I clicked on the picture, and they were the first thing that jumed out at me, even in the shrunken "preview" version. Wow. Wow. @_@

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ii!!! Yukiiiiiiiiiii!!! Damn...he's like one of da best anime characters ever created & OMG his seiyuu (Kazuhiko Inoue) has such a sezzy voice & it just fits him!!! Heh, da sucky part when I bought Gravitation DVDs 1 & 2 was that their dubbed voices are way WAY too similar to each other; Yuki for that matter sounds like some 50-yr old fat, perverted bum (at least that's how I imagined it ta be D) Aaaaaanywoo, I luv how da bg seems ta blur past him as if time was slowing down ONLY for him. I also luv da lyrics & his eyes *squealhuggleglomp*, they remind me of a wolf's...

I love Yuki's eyes. I've never seen another anime character with eyes like his. Most of the time the "unusual" eye-color for an anime character is violet/purple... which really isn't unusual anymore.

you picked my favorite colors for this picture i enjoy grayish greens. I like how you did the background, it reminds me of his inviorment, which i tend to forget when watching the show. I like his hair and how you've toned down the color to match the mood of the peice. The text also matches well, to go along with the blurd background. Very good. I like : )
