Epsilon leaves the pack...scene from the really old Blutfeder Chronicles I wrote once, I wanted to post the chapter belonging to this but I can't find it, has to be on my portable HDD... well story would be only in german anyhow.
Extremely fast done piece slapped together, I say roughly 70-80 minutes of work, just made it up to look like a screenshot.
Epsilon is the name of the wingless gryphon in the picture, Blutfeder actually tells the story about a gryphon who get's in contact with a Demon who huts demons himself, to collect their energy to finally become the next "higher" level, a god. The background story to all of these happenings tells about a war between the "GeflΓΌgelten" and the "FlΓΌgellosen" which means, the winged and the wingless ones in german. Meanwhile the new leader of the biggest gryphon pack believes that they both can live together in a big family, some don't... Epsilon is one of them and after a fight with the leader of the big winter-hunt he leaves the pack completely....
wanna know more? As I mentioned there are some chapters, but they are all in german...
completely done in Photoshop CS2 based on a rough sketch.

Unluckily for me, I don't speak german, so could you maybe try translating them to english? (there is that magical but probably not that good tool called "Translate" in Word. It might be useful.)

What program do you make your images in resp. save them in?
Concerning Photoshop you could try to use the save for web function, keeps the images sharp and fine but yet small in file size

Well, I usually use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to reduce the size of my drawings. I know I can save them for web in Photoshop, but that means having to use web colours, and I keep forgetting to do that

web colors?
If you go to File -> save for web and set to jpg or png with 90-100 on quality settings, there is no limit in colors

Yeah, web colours! On the colour palette, there's a little box on the bottom left that gives the option 'only web colours'.
