The Tao...what is your way to find your path...
Just some digital play-around, I always wanted to create an image with silhouettes and just some light-color variations... well I really loved the process behind this, probably doing some more...

Just a little critique -
The ropes on the posts on the left seem to be too dark compared to the posts they are wrapped around, like they are separate from the posts. Also, the shortest post seems to be the same distance away as the longest, because they are both the same tone, maybe if the posts further away gradually got fainter, and the closer ones were darker, it would give a better sense of depth.
I do love the colours you have used in this though, the red contrasting against the black, and the crispness of the creature's feathers against the hazy background. I like how you've used those small pink highlights on the feathers to add that extra bit of detail, and how the furthest wing is slightly faded.

That "fence" or however to call it really disturbs me a lot there, it was supposed to be on the same "hight" with the lantern, but then I decided to make it fade away, but tried to archieve the feeling that the rope on it has a different "material", but due to that it ended up too dark.hmm.. not sure if I can fix it there, but I am already doing a second piece in that style, so I try to keep it in mind for the next one I am doing
