Description
I won't be posting my finished story, until February, but I wanted to draw out a few scenes, to give an idea of what will happen.

1. In this scene, the Funky Phantom Crew meets Brooke, while she's harvesting bell peppers, from her garden, and the teens are worried about what Mudsy did, to cause confusion. When Brooke admits that she believes in ghosts (and that some of her neighbors think she's crazy, for that), the teens explain that they have a ghost friend, with them. At first, Brooke thinks they're making fun of her, but when Mudsy appears, she's amazed; on the other hand, Boo chastises his owner, for essentially giving away their position (by complimenting Brooke, out loud), but the flustered Mudsy says that the compliment "just slipped".

2. Okay, this scene takes place when the Funky Phantom Crew is getting ready to leave New Orleans, and an unhappy Mudsy has to say goodbye to Brooke. As much as the ghost wanted to stay, forever, "Alas, we simply cannot be, be together, that is." He knows the reason why: Brooke will continue to grow old, while he remains a ghost of his former self. While Mudsy hopes to visit the Big Easy, again, soon, Boo appears on Brooke's shoulders, and gives his own farewell: a nuzzle and a purr; Mudsy is pleased that his faithful feline companion likes Brooke, now, and Brooke feels the same, giving Boo a few pets.
