I wanted to put this up, yesterday, but I didn't finish it, in time. Well, after my last "parallels" piece: www.deviantart.com/lizlovestoo… , I wanted to try out a different pose: hugging.

1. Original Hanna-Barbera universe; this is based on a scene from my story, "Mudsy at Mardi Gras" (the scene is here: www.deviantart.com/lizlovestoo… ). In this scene, Mudsy has just rescued Brooke from being menaced by a man in a skull mask, and Brooke thanks him, by giving him a hug. I know, some of you might have expected a kiss, instead, but that comes later.
April: Oh, Mudsy, you're a hero!
Mudsy: In more ways than one, even! (carries Brooke, bridal-style, and they float gently to the ground)
Brooke: Hero is right. (hugs him)
Mudsy: (chuckles, slightly) Aww, nothin' like a good hug, to make a ghost feel alive, again.

2. "Jellystone!" universe; in this universe, I imagine that some of the other residents of Jellystone are confused that a bayou beauty, like Brooke Masterson, finds Funky Phantom attractive. Well, it's not really a case of loving the ghost, for his looks, alone, Brooke likes him, because he respects her, as a person. In their back-and-forth letters, to each other, Funky Phantom encourages her to pursue her dream of writing a cookbook, while still admiring her singing talents. On the other hand, Brooke isn't really interested in Funky Phantom's former wrestling career, but she is fond of the supportive words he uses in his letters.
Funky Phantom: I'm sorry I have to leave, Brooke... serving time in prison is no picnic.
Brooke: I know, but ya gotta do what's right.
Funky Phantom: Still, I'll miss our time, together... (tears up) And I'll miss you.
Brooke: (hugs him) Aww. (pulls away, slightly) Don't worry, as long as I live, our back-and-forth letters will never stop.
Funky Phantom: (realizes it, and smiles) A long-distance relationship! Given how I'm a ghost, I think it's a fair deal.
