Personality: Hikari is a very relaxed person who does not talk more than necessary. She like best to be alone and may become stressed if it happens a lot around her. She got a big intrest for making different games and her wish to be the best in Japan. She spends so much time for herself, trying to improve, little by little, every day.
She is very in love with Mondo Oowada after their first meeting after Hikari was almost killed by unknowns persons. She is very nervous and blushing very much when she is near Mondo and have a tendence to faint. But she became good friend with Kirigiri for her calm personality.

Background: She grew up only with her mom and and dad. From a young age she meant to be good at something, there was no time to have friends, but insted focus on school. From a young age Hikari had a great interest in games and wanted to be among the best creators in Japan, but has a long way to go. One evening after work she was late for the last bus and tried instead to take the train. But suddenly held down by several people and was pulled into an empty street. They wanted money and would kill her if she did not find them as quickly as possible. She gave everything, but looked like it didn`t help. Then she heard motorcycles and stopped right next to her. Oowada came with an outstretched hand and wondered what she was doing out so late at night, and was offered to drive her home. After that, coincidently thinking about Oowada, she felled little in love with him and thought of him every day, but tried not to show it to her classmates. Though they didn`t meet each other again before Hope's Peak Academy.
