Shoes for my best buddy! She wanted them like mine, so I did! I'm actually getting good at these! These took me much less time and I like them better. D:I'm thinking about making custom shoes and selling them. Good idea?
Again, one of my characters in acrylics.

Well, I usually use acrylic paints; you can get them veryvery cheap at Wal-Mart. I just sketch the art out with chalk and paint over it - Don't use too much or else the paint will crack (unless you want it too; it's a neat effect!). Finish it all off with some sealer and you're good to go! It just takes a long time if you're a perfectionist like me. XD

I have seen many a painted converse, and these are great, I think they would definitely sell, colorful shoes are very in fashion now

Acrylics and sometimes markers. It actually sticks to the fabric well and only cracks in places where I use too much paint/where the shoe bends. It's surprisingly stable.

Recently, I begin to see this type of art more and more, and I loves it.
The trend was get these little figurines that you can paint faces on before, and now seems to be shoes (It was even on TV).
I am thinking of getting a white blank pair of NIKE/MARC Unlimited or something like that myself and design it. The only thing I wasn't sure is that what medium did you use for the shoes ? Just the normal acrylic paint that you can get in any art supplies store ?
I love your design, and the face that you can wear your art is really neat to me. Especially when it is handmade like this for a more personal touch

Yep, just regular old acrylics! They crack after a few uses though, and I'm pretty sure there's something you can put on them to stop it. I just don't know what yet.

I would totally buy shoes like this! hah, it's hard because I'm used to critiquing photography and I know that that's not the point with this (but I'll just sneak in that the toes are cut off and I'd like to see the whole shoe). As for the painting on the shoes themselves, it looks fab. Much better than my scribbles on mine! The blue one could be a bit more filled in around the logo, I think that would make it perfect

I cut off the toes 'cause there's nothing on them and I could get in closer to the paint job I did.
It takes FOREVER. FOREEEEEVER. Plus it ruins brushes if you're not careful.
