Monster for Conceptart.org's creature of the week O__o the topic was arctic carnivore or some such. I'm ashamed to say I didn't put all that much effort into the design, cause I was really just goin for some toothy ugly beast bearing down on some poor guy. And I've tried to improve the background a bit since I entered this like a week or so ago, but I couldn't seem to get it right
ah well. It was fun to draw anyway.hope you like?

Reminds me of Lost Planet, although the beast seems to be the most mild of threats. The snow in it's wake is barely disturbed except where the heaviness of it's body slid. This implies extreme slowness. Not very intimidating. Unnerving maybe. Looks like this person will live if they act fast.
Edit: Noticed that is the beasts' tail. Still the powder is not very disturbed so the point holds.

This is one of my favs. I looked you up because I remember seeing this. I'm awestruck by the - for lack the ability to think of a better description right now - epic-ness of this monster. Love it.

Seriously, that is one awesome cute-but-terrifying beastie that I would love to have living under my bed. If my bed was huge, of course.

I woulda soiled my self if I were that guy. God that things huge. Very imposing, good figure placement and pose. Really emphasizes the creature's mass.

i remember seeing this thing somewhere and then lost the link. it was probably concept art, but i couldn't remember where it was. never thought i'd find it again.
even if it was just a throw together i think it's pretty impressive.
in my opinion it's a creature idea worth following up on.
