This is part of “The Five Continents project”. It’s the first representative of the fifth and final continent Australia. She’s an Indigenous Australian girl. A dear DA friend pointed out to me that her design was not accurate and not authentic. She told me they pretty much never wear jewelry, but basically body and face paint. I don't know why I didn't do more research
. To fix the whole authenticity problem I tried to change the sketch, but that didn't look right, so I decided on a compromise by keeping the jewelry and giving her some face paint 
This picture is such a cliché, but I guess that's what I was trying to achieve with this series

I like this. Most people don't know that Australia was originally home to 500 tribes and nations of Aboriginal Australians that were the first people to arrive from Africa and have the oldest surviving culture. I like the Aboriginal Australians because they invented the didgeridoo and boomerangs. They have interesting mythology from The Dreamtime and they are the only black people with natural blonde hair along with the Melanesians of the South Pacific.
