Very little is known about Akane Syphon, other than she is a technological genius who works for her father's company. Those who know her well, only know one side to her, however. Akane has an atler-ego; the notorious hacker known only as "Sting", who is responsible for many online attacks against her own father's company. The reason for her actions lies in her past. Years ago, she lost her Digimon partner and only friend to her father's company as a means of creating new technology. Akane wanted justice, and to this end recruited other humans with Digimon partner's to interfere in her father's goals.

The son of Philippine immigrants, Michael is the second eldest child of five living in a small city apartment. From a young age, Michael had an interest in computers, and taught himself coding and how to build computers. Because of limited funds, the computer Michael has at home was completely built from scratch over the course of three years. As one of the eldest children in the family, Michael helps support the household by working part-time at a computer repair center.
Michael serves as the Digi-Destineds' go-to tech expert, even though he doesn't have a Digimon partner of his own. Along with being incredibly smart, Michael is bilingual, and has a goofy sense of humor which he often teases his siblings with. When he isn't fiddling with computers, Michael enjoys DM-ing tabletop RPGs in his free time.
