Hey strangers - actually finished this aaaaaaaaaaaagges ago but haven't had a spare five mins to myself to get it submitted to share with you all! (I'm sure this recent popularity wont last though!)

As with most of my work this kinda evolved over the time I was working on it - initially the desire was born out of a simple hankerin' for some kick-ass action in my gallery - and what better way than that perenial favorite: a kick to the head?

Credit where its due, a great deal of inspiration for the poses and background elements came from ~elwf 's 'chlopcy' , *kil1k 's 'Emerald Light' & ~Hydropheliac 's 'Tactichris 4' - cheers all!

Anyways, as I say, the piece grew from there, at first I just wanted a cool "urban explorer" gal, duffing up a generic security goon, but as it came time to colour it I realised that if I coloured the hair just so and picked just the right shade of blue, the character started to take on a certain similarity with a particular lewis Carrol heroine of some notoriety - so then I just went to town!

And so was born "Alicia" and her "diamond" geezer of an adversary - I figured this as a contemporary take on the story - sort of "what would an 'Alice in Wonderland' movie look like through a 'Christopher Nolan' filter?" - I had a lot of fun working on this and I hope it shows!
