Gagauzia is one of Turkic autonom countries. They are special for us because they are christian. That's why we cannot let them assimilated by others.

You can try amigo, but the thing is you can't really fight against Russian assimilation that is going on in Republic Moldova, not even us the Romanians can't do much for the Moldovans themselfs, if they don't resist Russia's assimilationist force !
So dream on, soon your gagauz friends will be russians ...

If we couldn't fight against Russian assimilation, there would not be any Turkic country. You know all the independent Turkic countries -except Turkey- took independent from Russia.

I would say it wasn't actually taking but giving, because of Gorbachov and the non-violent fall of the USSR.
But i'm afraid that the things that were received without blood sacrifice are doomed to last shortly, either they have to make the sacrifice later. Now Russia is targeting the whole world, probably soon these central asian countries will have the oportunity to finally make their sacrifice for their independence !
