Description
Here is another folklore beast of the Tiihirrhan Tribe- this time it’s the Miiuri Tiiul- roughly translating to “Many Legs” in the Tiihirrhan language. It bears some facial resemblance to the Liihki Vighe, and the Tribe believes these beasts to be a sort of spirit “Kin” to each other. Although one could say the Miiuri Tiiul is more intelligent. Like it’s supposed Kin, this creature lives in the same frigid mountain region although it prefers to make its home in caves.

When hunting, the Miiuri Tiiul mimics the agonized cries of wounded animals to lure in its prey. Many Tiihirrhan hunters have fallen for these cries and have ended up victims to the creature. It often will hide up in the tree branches of the forest and watch for its prey to approach its luring sounds. There isn’t really much that differentiates it’s calls from an actual animals calls, so it’s easy to fall for. The only noted difference is that the call of the Miiuri Tiiul is more “raspy” than those of the actual animal calls it mimics- so one must listen very very closely to the calls before deciding to follow them.

In Tradition, The Tiihirrhan tribe will often place tied up wounded animals at as many known caves in their territory as offerings for if a Miiuri Tiiul is residing in said cave to keep it content and from coming near their village. The Miiuri Tiiul is fast, deadly and large making it a creature the Tribe doesn’t exactly want to attempt to confront and hunt down, so instead they just work to keep the creature satisfied.
