Description
So, did this for the dA weapon tutorial thing, but also because I wanted to draw Ackamere’s battle axe. Ackamere is a Layrrek god of war (amongst many other things), which makes his axe anything but ordinary. It was not forged by humans/ those of the Layrrek tribe, but was forged by Ackamere himself. The weapon itself responds to the energy of its wielder, meaning that Ackamere who is a god, would get great power out of it, while in a mortal’s hands, they’d get very little assuming they do not know how to channel their energy. It can also be considered very dangerous in the hands of mortals, as our essence is not naturally in tune with this weapon. A mortal would have to meditate using this weapon for many decades to put themselves in tune with it. But even then no mortal can ever truly tune their essence to this weapon.

In Ackamere’s grip, this axe delivers colossal blows and a small shockwave of energy which can throw an enemy off balance. It partially gets its energy from the souls of those it killed and when in your hands, one can feel the energy radiating from it like a pulse, as if it’s very essence were alive.
