Awesome! Seriously considered getting eSurance, mostly because of Zone though... DAMN, did Zone scare Erin off?

I guess I can understand why they dropped this character. (though the decision to do so sucks) When I saw this pretty lady on the screen, insurance was the last thing on my mind.

I'm pissed that E-surance decided to dump using Erin as their character when Allstate bought them.

Nice use of HDR Bloom and a mixture of realistic T&L and a more stylistic cel shading. I see some bump mapping on the floor as well, although the shader effects on Erin seem to be lacking. Then again, you're just being faithful to the original product so I'll let it pass this time. Besides, I always prefer 2D vectors over textured polygons.
Also, SUCK IT ELECTRONIC ARTS
(yes, I've been following E3)

Those commercials lost all relevance to what they were advertising, but the animation itself was great for Erin alone.

Blame a twitchy home company: when the folks at eSurance found out that Google hits on Erin were returning more fanart (and more risque fan art than anything else) than references to the actual insurance, they pulled back, making Erin basically a glorified logo.
They should take a cue from Progressive. They haven't scrapped Flo, just because of all the porn shoops.

esurance is owned by Allstate, so it won't really matter too much

yep, Allstate just wanted to get new, young customers via the internet, hence the inception of esurance.
Kinda like toyota's "scion" line of cars; meant to appeal to the younger generation of shoppers.
Where they got the idea for the pink haired secret agent is anybody's guess.
