I think its better if he isn't hugging his knees. If he were for me it would make it seem like he was afraid or vulnerable, where as in the game, he's very determined and unafraid of the task he must perform. This position just makes him seem weary, but also i get a sense of guilt from what he is doing. At first I agreed with you, but the more I thought about it, the more i thought this position is better suited, if you get what I'm saying

This picture is awesome! It's not an epic spectacle of a titan fight, it's just a lonesome Wander, curled into a sitting position, exhausted from carrying out these missions for a hopeless cause. I really like how he's overshadowed by this grotesque face, almost like it's grinning at him, and how even though he's in the darkness, he casts the shadow of Nimrod wherever he goes. Very good job. The colors are perfect, with their dull tones, and the harsh brush strokes gives it this sense of unease. Brilliant job.

man!! this game is more than a game is a proof that games can be art \ i dont know if i wouldve liked the game to show more details about the story cuz everything is so misterious n im curious bout knowing what it really meant... however it wouldve lost part of its artistic value.
PD: i was shocked after seeing the end of the game it was just so sad... and left me with so many questions. id like a SoC2 to come out!!!

The story of ICO is connected to that of Shadow of the Colossus. From what I read, "SOTC" takes place some time before the events of ICO.

They don't exactly say that ICO was a real sequel to SotC. Let's not forget, SotC was made AFTER ICO was released. The director/producers of both games merely just say that SotC is a spiritual predecessor to ICO, but the stories are not directly connected. It's a shame, really, but oh well.

Some people consider Ico (The character, not the game) to be the reborn Wander/Dormin baby grown up once again. Nobody knows if that's true, and I'm not sure I believe it, but it's a rumor and you can believe that if you want. I think the real purpose of the series is to let the players' imaginations roam free.

They're coming out with a sequel to Shadow of the Colossus in 2010 called 'The Last Guardian'. There was also a game that came before Shadow of the Colossus called 'ICO', which, in my opinion, is the best game ever made.
