Description
This is another part of the visual character sheet I'm making of my original character, Jack. As you can see, he has the ability to "shift" into a catlike creature. That's because he's from a shamanic tribe, and when he nearly died, his guardian spirit imparted its essence into him to preserve him. Now, he can bring that spirit forth to the extent that it alters his physical form--as the tribe teaches, the physical form draws its source from the soul. A change to the soul will in time bring forth a change to the body.Related content

Yeah, I did--and it was fun, too.
I started with the pencils, then scanned them in, turned them blue, and did everything else digitally.

Good points--I suppose I didn't think about the cat side's expression when I named it---but even if he looks happy, he can really rip into people. ^_~
But yeah, good point--a smiling cat-person just doesn't look as intimidating...

Actually, I just think the calm and ferocious aspects are reverse of what the title suggests (check out the eyebrow tilt on the human side, this guy doesn't emote much but that's his murderous face). That said, it would have been cool to see the kitty side a little more angry (even if it was just a transposition of the eyebrows) since most of his good maiming has been in meow-mode.

Hehe, like I said below, good point--but if it counts for anything, even though he looks pretty happy, he's really quite ferocious in action...
