Very grateful for the different angle you chose do to with this one. Action, action, action! while still preserving your unique drawing style and giving the piece some history. It's one of a kind (to me, at least) and am I glad to see a woman with a bow defending herself!

Glad you liked it! Whilst in my comunitary rotation I had little more to do than draw, so I experimented on a couple of new angles. I like this one a lot, but would love to improve it here and there. Hopefully you will see more different drawings soon enough! Always glad to read your comments by the way, you are an awesome follower

Comunitary rotation? Would you care to explain? ^^Ā
Also, I would dare to say that your experimentation worked out well for this one... And hey, with drawings, it sometimes feels like there's always something to improve. The thing is, if you begin to do so, you might end up destroying what good was already on the paper. I've done it hundreds of times, so now I'm trying to not edit things as much, if even at all xDĀ
Yeah, well, I'm not in a hurry to see drawings - productivity and creativity comes and goes, and so does the people who comment. While I keep everything in my inbox I want to look at, I may not always comment straight away. My school starts tomorrow, so when I've done my homework, readied all my remedies (and cleaned my room T^T), I will definitely try to enjoy as much art as I possibly can.Ā
Oh? I'm happy to hear that! I try to be as honest and as 'me-ish' as I can when wanting to express how I look at something - it's not always appreciated, and sometimes I feel like most Deviants don't really care. Your reassurance comforts me, so I'll hold the boat steady in rising waters and keep doing what I like C= Thank you so much for acknowledging it (and, in particular, for remembering me... You appear to be very aware that I indeed have commented on a good few things of yours xD ).

Sure I can explain. I'm in my 6th year of medical school, which means I'm doing what we call a Rotational Internship. This means I go through different rotations to train my skills in different areas of the medical field. They are Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neonatology and Comunitary medicine. During the comunitary rotation I lived for 2 months in a small town in a province and worked at a 1st level hospital, so I had very limited resources to work with. Now, during this time, 1 month I lived alone in a small hostel room, and would seldom leave or socialize save for the time spent at the hospital. So, I basically ended up talking with walls and hearing voices haha. It was a good time though because I felt like experimenting with art and got some interesting results.
By the way, I meant what I said haha. I actually do care about every watcher, every commenter, every follower. And as you comment more I know you more, and you take a more protagonical role in my small gallery. You are one of my most steady followers. But each deviant knows how much participation he/she has in the gallery, and should how important they are. Remember that, at least here, your comments go to open eyes and ears.Ā

Very informational, thank you so much for giving me the explanation I needed C= A little difficult to know how everything is working when I'm not experiencing it myself ^^

Sounds like you've seen quite some stuff o.o Oh, and if you talk to the walls and hear the voices, remember they've got ears, too! And what part of your rotational internship did you like the best? Now that you've finally graduated, I take it you might want to find work by now... Work and time to be creative C= Any clue on what you're going to work with in the medical field?

Honestly I'd be surprised if you didn't. It appears to me that feedback on what works and what quite doesn't is something you cherish deeply, if it's delivered in a way that is fair, of course.Ā
I'm happy the commenting is working out for both of us C= And that you're so frank about it, that's really nice too.

You are most welcome! I would want to find work if I could, but that's not how things work in my country. After graduating, new doctors have to work in rural areas for one year. It is a sort of community service in return for the chance to study haha. So in december I guess I'll be sent to a small town or some place. I just hope it is not near the country's frontier 'cause of the guerrilla and such. Once I'm done with that I don't know what I will do. I did learn that I don't want to be a "hospital mouse", so it would be something that does not involve shifts... I like too many things to be spending all my life inside a hospital!

The way you do it is very different from how we do in my country C= It actually sounds like a good thing, this kind of community service. You give something back rather than just taking the education and leaving the country immediately. But well, "hospital mice" do a great thing, I guess it just narrows your life down to quite little other than work. How does it feel now that you're done educating yourself? ^^Ā

Uhm what can I say, it sounds nice in theory, but this first year of comunity service usually causes a lot of medical malpractice since it is only one recently graduated doctor in the whole town to deal with very different cases of disease and violent accidents. Yeah, hospital mice are good in a sense of doing things for health and people, but say, if I were one, you wouldn't be seeing more art from me in a while haha. I do too many things to be limited to doing something I don't really like too much. I am glad I am done with my basic education, but now I have to think on what to do with my life, and that basically will define my next frew years. Must know if I want to take on a specialization or derive from one of the many non clinical branches of medicine and go to, say, education or administration..

It does sound nice in theory, but if there are issues, I see why you may not support it as much. I wouldn't know too well seeing as I am not from your country ^^Ā
Sounds like life isn't exactly way easier now that you finished your ed; more choices are always waiting ahead, I guess.

And yeah... I'd be sad to see no more art from you! Please don't become a full-time hospital mouse! ^^'Ā
