Description
The River Weaver near my home in Winsford, Cheshire, UKUpdated this image as realised I'd done something awful to the sky to the right of the tree!... And then again as in fixing the sky I lost the layer correction for the snow!.. now, finally sorted..

Overall a lovely shot. You have taken this shot against the sun, but nothing seems to be overblown or white. There are some very bright parts in the picture, but I think they add to the effect and are good. I really like the reflection in the river. The contrast from the tree to the background / sky is okey, and it is sharp. When I look at this picture it feels very calm but cold. I think that is good doh.
One thing could be improved I think and that is the compostiton. You gave this one a good title "river weaver" but the composition doesn't support this title that well. I think another position would be great. I would take this shot near by the river, so that gets more into focus. And my perspective would be another one - I would lay down and take the shot from a very low point, therefore you can see the branches near the river and the tree gets bigger....
