The Hunter began stalking the pack to collect the bounty. However as the group continue to evade him, his desire to kill them has less and less to do with the reward.
The Hunter is telekinetic, though he is in fierce denial regarding this fact – seeking to have no similarity with the ‘freaks’ he hunts.
However, his abilities, even though undeveloped prove deadly to his targets as, even if he denies them, he unwittingly uses them through sheer will (and the greater his desire, the greater the effect).
When he fires a shot, for example, he will slightly alter the trajectory due to his desire for the bullet to hit its target, making him a deadly shot. That target may also find that as they run away, they seems to be running into what could be described as a very strong wind - that the log in front of them comes up to meet there feet as they jump over it, tripping them - the branches of the trees seem to stoop down and obscure there field of vision and path etc.
