I hope you find it helpful! Sorry for low quality, my memory card isn't large enough for a long HD video. u_u

eek, I may have to risk it and scissor-shave, I really don't have the time to go get any clippers, and I don't want to go to AC being a super floofy monster! (Then again, if I wear any fursuit, shaved or unshaved, then I'd be a floofy monster.)

It looks simply adorable so far, and it's very interesting to see the difference between shaved and unshaved.

This really shows how even the best fursuits look really bad unshaved.

Thank you for sharing.. I assume you started with a long comb and worked your way down?

Silly question, but before I glue down the fur on my head, it all seems... baggy? Does this go away once you've glued and shaved it or should I take a little bit off and see what the leaves me with?

Sounds like maybe you're giving yourself too much seam allowance. Only add as much as you need for a snug fit.

As I've stitched it all up, would it be easier to just retape the head and start again? I handsew pretty tightly, but I wanted to ask before I did that.

Thank you so much for your help<3

Could just do another line of stitching farther in and trim off the excess.

its better too have too much fur that you can trim off after gluing the fur down rather than having too little and not realizing it until after you've shaved it. you should check the fur by placing it on the face and pinning it down before you glue it. a little bagginess is to be expected but not too much.

Ah, Mine is pretty baggy, so I'll retape it and start again. I've got like so 3 yards of the fur, so I think I'll be okay. Thank you so much for your help!
