uh, oh, a little tenshun in the pack!! Ok sorry but here is when it starts to get a little boring. The wolves start to introduce themselves to the pups!

OK F.Y.I. i have read too much manga/japanese comics lately so i accidently drew it backwards....so it reads right to left- same thing with the word bubbles
this is ALL done by hand by me...it's hard work!

lol I just noticed Katana's ears are sopposed to be darker and Gale's front leg in the middle panel isn't colored! Oops...

I like how in real life... wolves don't have alphas.. or omegas... xD
But they still published the movie Alpha and Omega, it was cute, but I disapproved SO much.
I believe this was posted before that study? :3

No they don't.
It used to be believed that they did, but in a study in 2009 it has been declared by the science community that there is no such order in a wolf pack. A wolf may have a moment of superiority to another wolf, but this superiority is by no means something permanent, and only lasted for the instance in which the superiority was challenged.

theres a sort of pack structure either way even if its not permanent. even though its not every wolf has a role to play in a pack and those roles are why they were considered different rankings within the pack (a beta would be a sort of punisher, an omega is there to release tension and stress amongst the wolves). theres a pecking order everywhere, really and this comic might not be accurate with its ranks but its still something that is always there in almost every creature.

lol! Be careful though, I accidently drew page 4 the normal way and inked it in so i had to go on the comp. and rearange the panels! That was hard to do.
