The comments about this piece are so old, and yet, this is the first time I have seen it...and, I am stunned!
To look in the mirror and see, not the color of hair, not the color of eyes or lips, but the soul deep stirring of lost, longing, pain, youth lost, melancholy, wonder, angst, desire, and hope that there is still time to find that which got lost along the way - even if you are no longer young - like the one in the mirror - there is hope in not quite having given up, not quite at the door of hopelessness, and sometimes it is the art that drives us there. Past the tears, past the pain, past the despair - there is hope.

But, in a way that is a good thing. Pain is a great motivator - and pure beauty is far too overused.

Beautiful control of colour. Just gorgeous and pertinent to this time of year too, so frosty and cool. I love the hair to pieces, it just makes the shot. With hair any neater, this would never have had the wow factor it has. She's almost like a female Jack Frost, if you know of the character. Lovely work, as ever.
