im liking that... what shutter speed and aperture did you use? i saw on your next droplet shot that you said you had used "50mm f1/7 reversed" what does reversed mean? ... does that mean you can turn round your lenses and use them as a macro lens? if so that is indeed intriguing and i'd love to know how to do that with my new dslr im going to get...

Well, I bought a cheap slr-lens on ebay (I think I paid ~10 euros), and put it reversed in front of my good old Canon A60. Yes, you can do super-macro with that .
And you can also put a slr-lens reversed in front of a dslr, but that does not create this super-macro-effect. At least not with a 50mm-lens. The smaller the focal lenght of the lens, the more macro you get. I.e. a 18mm lens lets you get more macro than a 50mm lens.
Have fun trying it out!

it's a beautiful shot; especially the reflection in the water droplets
