This is the boat that Steve used in Steve goes boatingFeatures:

Download and open the .skp model in SketchUp 8 or higher

What is this "most people there" you speak of? Why should anyone else's activity come into the mix? Nothing demands that it has to be "multi-player"....
After all, I've been playing, off and on, for a couple years, and I have *never* played on *any* server. Like you, perhaps, I don't like the thought that the person next to me in an online session _might be_ a griefer or thiefer. (Based on the fact that I watched some Minecraft griefing videos on Youtube long before getting involved in the game; I'm already scarred for life against playing on a server too, but at least I'm aware of it. But I like playing with Minecraft nevertheless....)
Just don't think that your game-playing experience has to be on a server. Many aspects of playing Minecraft can be therapeutic as well as accelerate your creativity (playing on Peaceful mode, building something from nothing).

That's the common problem here...
IF I play alone, it's social torture because if you manage to build something beautifull, you have no one around you to see it.
But if you play in multi, either it has server plugins that stops you from building large things, players who steal your resources because they can't arse to get their own, pvpers that kill you without even asking, since weapons were designed to defend yourself against hostile mobs, not to hurt each other and of course, retarded griefers who ruins everyone else's fun for the sake of their own.
I almost never play Minecraft because I'm tired of feeling that pain of dealing with retarded people just hurting and provoking each other as human players...
