oh noes. More Gorillaz fanart. I feel as if I'm on a roll of some kind. You people must be getting sick of me. XDDecided to dig further into the 2D/Murdoc abuse relationship. Because I wanted to. I think maybe it might look a little sloppy.
Just so you all know, 2D is sporting what my friend calls ninja shoes. No, they are not really ninja shoes. She just calls them that, and I didn't feel like drawing sneakers, or the laces of the sneakers. Apparently they are very comfortable, and poor 2D deserves a bit of comfort being in this awful state.
That thing on the floor, btw, is some kind of bloody rag. Had I been creative and thought up some dialogue, Murdoc would have probably suggested in that rough, scratchy voice for 2D to clean himself up. And 2D would have cried.

i love the general emotion, i am not a supporter of the pairing, but this is truly amazing.

Why is this so hot dammit?! I love how you draw this pair like they REALLY are. Sure, there's probably some fluff once in a blue moon between them, but overall they're extremely violent and disfunctional. To be honest, I really don't see how this pairing could ever possibly happen... but I like it anyway. Hooray for S+M! XD

You can see this pairing happen? Well, apart from these two being guys (fictional at that) they are just like any other dysfunctional couple where a man abuses the woman who still kisses the ground her abuser stood on. It does happen and more often than you can imagine.

I wrote this comment almost 3 years ago and kinda regret it. I really only liked 2D/Murdoc cause it was the most common Gorillaz pairing that didn't involve underage Noodle. I also know a hell of a lot more about the difference between actual BDSM and straight up abuse. I'm kind of ashamed I ever liked the pairing, though some of the artwork was still pretty damn good.Β

That shot of 2D bent over, clutching his body--I can practically FEEL his pain. And the way you've portrayed the emotions through this comic-thing. Where Murdoc starts out smug, then ends up questioning his initial pleasure is so well-shown here.
And I love the way you draw them, too~ You have a bit of Jamie's style and a bit of your own style, which I REALLY admire. Really wonderful job! <3 :3
