Description
This is a photo I took during the wedding of my cousin Chris and cousin in-law Sylvia! It was a beautiful wedding! Sadly I was having some bad anxiety that day so I did not shoot as much as I wanted, plus was stuck with a sub par camera, hence a bit of noisiness
All I did editing was took out some glare in the candle, fucked with the white balance, a tiny bit, and cropped a bit off the left! Let me know what you think 
I know it is not an amazing photo or anything but it just feels so warm and cozy to me I had to share

Oh my how pretty! I love photos of candles and you did such a lovely job of this... I like the composition... the muted tones are all similar and blurred in the background and it is obvious with the focusing that the candle is the main subject! I love it!

It's not the banquet hall lighting that catches the eye and makes the picture, it's the light of the candle; combined with your obviously improved photography skills. In other words, the credit goes to Loffy0
I did as well, once upon a time,... many many many many moons ago. But like my mom always said, and it's so very true: "Accept compliments graciously".
Not only will it get easier to do with time, but with time, you will come to believe that in fact, you Do deserve the good thoughts and wishes.

That too yeah, that is prolly what softens it so much. The light was surprisingly soft in there too though.

Well it is a revelation for some. Some people have such low self esteem, have such trouble accepting a simple compliment. I used to be that way back in my very early teens; then I started taking mom's advice. It was uncomfortable at first. But as time went on, and I smiled and thanked people, rather than cringe inside, it got easy, and I was comfortable with it; I found my own feelings about myself were changing. I had developed self confidence. And in fact, felt I deserved the comments and respect.
