I noticed that my character Paradox hadn't a proper illustration with just herself. u_u
I tried to give a Japanese aspect to this drawing. Like a japanese print. Also, I tried to make Paradox look like a japanese girl, but I don't know if it is successful...
Anyway, this is the illustration of one of her spells : Taijin Kyofusho "Hidden Rhythm.
"Taijin Kyofusho" is a social phobia from Japan. It is described as a vicious cycle of self examination and reproach. I think it fits well Paradox, who feels like she was a bother to people.
And the "hidden rhythm"... What could be that in your opinion ? ^^

I really like the background, though I do feel that she stands out a bit too much from it... I feel as if there should be something grounding her a bit, if that makes sense?
The patterns in the background and the way you've shaded it all is brilliant, though. I especially like how you've drawn her clothing and hair, and her features are portrayed in quite a cute manner too.
The angle is awesome too! Perhaps there could be more in the background as it is a bit plain, but then you've got the white outline and.. yeah.
It's good as it is.

Mh, I understand what you mean. I wanted her to be "floating" on the water, but she looks like "pasted" on the background. But I didn't know what to add to "ground" her... Have you got an idea?
Well, thank you! I remembered what you said in [link] >this drawing where she appears, and I tried to add more depth on her features
Mmh, well, I wanted the white mountain to be visible, and I was worried that if I have added something in the background, it would make disappear the mountain. Well, this is just my opinion ^^

I can't say I know much about that, but maybe you could get some inspiration/ideas from looking at other pieces that have people floating.
