Thanks can go a long way, not just on a single holiday. I really am thankful for many things, my wonderful family, the few friends I can trust, the life I have and the amazing fact I'm still alive today.Before 2009, those were the only targets of my thanks (well, those on DA too), but since this year began, I've grown a precious fondness for a certain someone of whom, despite being far away, I'm thankful for every single day. My Amber, whether rain or shine, you'll always be in my heart, for you mean more to me than all that I am.
As well, despite the funk of not being able to draw thanks giving day to participate in the collab we wanted to do, after seeing your Playing Pilgrim picture and your comment, I just felt like drawing, and this is what came to be in the very first sketch. Thank you for the continued inspiration. <3

Take a close observation of life itself. There are countless ways to die, to lose your life, and very few to survive. Not everyone makes it to be twenty years old, heck, not everyone makes it to be even ten years old, and there are still countless children out there that barely make it to one year old.
And then, look at life today. We count on everyone for survival. The food we get in the store, we put faith that it'll keep us healthy, not poison us. When we use vehicles to drive everywhere, we trust none explode, or we crash, or a natural disaster wipes us off the face of the earth.
To me, to have lived this long is a miracle. Maybe not everyone sees that, but I see it. Life is a gift, time is a gift. Everyone has a certain amount of time, what we choose to do with it is one thing, but it's limited, and to discover how much you have so far... well, lucky I guess.

Wow... ther's so much love in this picture you can't help but be thankful.
THe expressions here are heaven sent. I can see the love radiating from Logi's eyes and Ambi's joy of being in his arms. Just tht has made it priceless.
As for the picture itself, it's really good. I love how you've done Logi and Ambi's shadow from the fire's light.

Indeed it has, I've been busy, more so because I don't do my schoolwork till late, and I don't do art stuff less schoolwork is done, so you can see where procrastination can really make things difficult.

I can see you put a lot of effort into making this fit the theme so nicely, the lighting from the fire makes it look more real this way. You seem to have more creativity in putting scenes together than ever before ^^

Thank you my friend, I appreciate your sensible response to my deviation. The theme does fit well, though I admit this picture comes from the inspiration of Amber's thanks giving gift (I started working on this maybe an hour after she submitted).
As for the backgrounds, I've learned something called random picture observance. Rather, I look up what I want my background to be, then pull the colors and create my own version.

Honestly, It looks like you either just pulled her out of a fire, or are about to put her in one, and while I have heard of a burning passion. That might be going a step to far.
