Two deviations in a day?! This is madness!!!

Naw, I finished this yesterday but I wouldn't let myself upload it until World Peace was done.

...oh mah gawd, this is my first completely original work I've uploaded on deviantArt... dayum! That makes this so nostalgic, you don't even know...

...fyi, i'm not completely ignorant about shading. That's just the generic background I'm going to use to introduce some of the important characters to the story... the lighting has no influence on the pictures of the characters.

LENGTHY BACKSTORY TIME!!!
This is the main character of my first completely original comic, which I titled Zombie 2012... lame name, I know... I was a junior in high school and I suck at naming things. ANYWAY. Its titled Zombie 2012 because the setting is the zombie apocalypse that happens in 2012, because the world was allegedly supposed to end.... I don't really believe that, Thor 2 comes out in 2013. We're FIIIIINE. But yes, this is Dylan Becker, the main character and protagonist of my graphic novel. As you can see in the left hand corner, that is a tiny little picture of the first time I ever drew him. LOOK AT HOW MUCH I HAVE IMPROVED SINCE THEN, YOU BASTARDS. Not only was that picture there the first picture of Dylan I ever drew, but it was the first picture i drew in my American Comic style that developed into what we see today. That's why uploading this picture is so nostalgic for me. Dylan is like my baby, I love him to death. He's such a sweetheart... most of the time.

Now a little character info about Dylan. He is the main character and his story starts out with him moving into a dinky hick town with his mother, who's a bit less than loving towards him, and his soon-to-be-step-father, Dan... who is a bit of a douchebag... okay, a LOT of a douchebag. (the first part of the novel in the town and his experiences at school are based off of my childhood in a dinky hick town... ) Dylan is an itty bitty little sophmore in high school and he's different from the other kids, so he finds it hard to fit in. He isn't a farmer, he moved from a big city, he doesn't think like them at all... and he has mild schizophrenia. Of course, the days at school don't last very long... BECAUSE ZOMBIES COME AND EAT EVERYONE!!! Dylan and a friend from his school are forced to abandon the town for their own survival. They stay together thoughout the entire series... because they eventually fall in love with each other. but it was one of those cracky type things that you could totally see coming a mile away.

The cat to his side is Frederick. Frederick is a stray cat that hangs around Dylan almost constantly... but he's no ordinary cat, HE CAN TALK!!! ...oh wait, no he can't. Dylan's schizophrenia makes him THINK that Frederick can talk. Frederick is rather mean to Dylan, because the voice that Dylan has projected on the cat is really the voice of his own self rejection. Frederick frequently calls Dylan on all of his insecurities, but his favorite thing to torment poor Dylan with is calling him crazy. Dylan is quite sensative about being called insane...

Zombie 2012 is set in a zombie apocalypse, but is so much more than just a zombie story. Yes, there are zombies and blood and gore and darkness and all those good things... BUT THERE IS ALSO CRACK!!! so much crack...!! And PLOT!! There is much plotline to this story as well! If i ever get the story going again, i would encourage you all to read it if you enjoy my comic style, my humor, and my ideas. If you're just here watching me for Hetalia... I can't help you much there. :I
