is holding a historical Pokemon contest [link] and I thought it might be fun to try. When I was thinking historical Pokemon, this is what instantly popped into my head: Charizard in Medieval times! And the guy in front is supposed to be King Arthur. And he's not actually out to slay Charizard...he intends on making him his pet dragon! Since he has no Pokemon of his own, the only way to fight Charizard is with his sword (and wits)! And once the beast is down, he's going to capture it in the Pokeball he is holding in his right hand. Because that's how you capture Pokemon...Medieval style!Related content

The thing that looks like a shield over there is actually a medieval pokeball. The reason it's so big is to show the pokemon that the warrior (or knight in this case) is intending to become it's master.
Or at least that's what it seems like.
