Ok so um......

GAMERA REBIRTH WAS AMAZING HOLY SHIT. I found it to be a great love letter to the character and overall franchise and had a pretty good story as well as action scenes! they really nailed the tone, with the lighthearted and heroic feel of the Showa films to the dark and serious themes of Heisei, AAAAA so good! Honestly i liked a lot more the animation as a whole, some shots still look weird, but it's not half bad. Also the soundtrack slaps so much, i've been listening every day to Natsuake since last week, no joke.

Of course i need to talk about the monsters, and they're all great, each monster shines (although i'll admit i would have prefered a new monster over that one Baragon-like Gyaos but still) i love how every monster got their time to fight Gamera. Speaking of Gamera, boy he stole the show every time he appeared and had pretty interesting lore and skills (some as references to old movies) and he's just as cool and loveable as ever. Plus i really like his design and i wanted to draw it again.

When it comes to the drawing, i'm mixed on it, i feel like the lightning and shadows clash a bit but i'm still happy with the rest and really liked to work on it!

GAMERA REBIRTH WAS AMAZING HOLY SHIT.
