Firstly to begin, let me tell you this: I use the term "doll" figuratively with these because those crappy "dolls" I speak of, are not really, well, "dolls" and they are an embarrassment on this site to deviant dollers who make real dolls given effort and care like any art should be, made with any medium, in any style, on your own being or in collaboration.

Like these ones.

But it describes the deviations I frequent on the front page of dA, Digital Dolls and Digital Art/Pixel Art that are usually the green apple splatters shat and scribble and paint bucket puked on what is some traced fail shit Lucky Star or Vocaloid fanart manga kawaiidesukun, raped of innocence beyond any repair in MSPaint in about five seconds minutes real time. They're abominations that are not dolls or doll templates/base in any way shape or form.

Now furthermore, I do not speak of skill level here because what occurs with dollers who are trying to learn is they would post beginners work to search for outlets, feedback and help. They are not afraid to make use of tutorials to learn. They do not post all of their "practice work" They do not post UTTER SHIT here that looks like it's been drawn with feet because they are "BORED" or "RAND(U)OM(B)"

There's much war on dA over certain situations involving the doll community
"What is a doll?"
"What is a template/base?"
"What is pixel art?"
"What are dolls, bases, pixels used for?"
"Are dolls all collaborationss? Are they fashion or character design work? Are they montages?"

"Who are dollers ? What makes you one?"

Many deviants are horrifically off and misinformed of dolls because of these. I can't blame a few people here and there who have a misconception due to what's being shoved into these categories. As so long it does not turn into a "my medium or style is holy ought thou" battle then I will give them real information and answer their questions. I'll answer yours too, so don't be afraid to ask them. I won't bite you.

This dArama disgusts me so much that at times I don't want to look far and wide on this site. I do not want to post among the turmoil on this site. There is so much I don't post here because of that.
Hey, I obviously still love the deviant dollers and dA with all my heart after all; I wouldn't leave this place. If it were safe and easy as it had been in the golden years of dolling then I'd have a doll site to work on too; I would be half there and dA. It would sure help! As of right now that isn't possible until I'd find a host that were reliable and secure for myself and visitors.

I think I've spoken enough here for general understandment, right?
