Uhm, it's kinda complicated XD
I imagine if Tikal ever came out of the Master Emerald, she'd be immortal. Shadow
is also immortal....so yeah I'd think they'd end up meeting, and Tikal being her sweet timid self would remind him of Maria, and that would interest him.

Oh I see.... I just didn't really didn't see them as a couple since they never met...

(I'm more into Shadouge, Shadaria, and Chaotikal but that's just me)

Of course! They can even explore a fanfiction that finds some way to bring her back "to life" while keeping her immorality, since those are popular plotlines. I just always wondered if people seemed to think Tikal was alive when they speculated pairings like Tikal/Silver, Tikal/Knuckles, or Tikal/Shadow. Some Tikal-shippers saw her as a time traveler while others saw her as immortal...when she was really just a haunting ghost-ball that was only able to "come out" when Chaos rampaged the town. Now there's a crack pairing...Chaos/Tikal Water x Furry.
