Rumor has it that Nintendo is going to re-release the original 8-bit Zelda game, but this time, in the style of a first person shooter!
Here is a pre-beta screen shot of what it looks like right now! They've replaced the world map with a mini radar of the current area. It appears that the shield is now manually activated for greater challenge. Other than that most things look about the same. You can even see the updated Octorock there.

Ok, I lie. But what if it did happen? If you notice the "radar" is a screenshot of the original game. I actually did base the entire scee off of that shot. This is my first work messing about with Nurbs surfaces. Nothing too complex, but bloody hell it took forever to get it right.
