i dont know why but this song reminds me of 'atmosphere - gotta love walls' its more dark than alot of the stuff i have seen you do, however i think i really like it because it gives us an idea of what your able to do. while some people probably dont like this one as much as your other stuff i think this is one of the most powerful pieces youve thrown up on this'a'here website. great work brenda

That's pretty damn cool. It's a good drawing but it's not obsesive with details. SOme people have an idea for art then get too obsessed with perfection and the idea gets lost and it becomes a drawing. This however looks awesome and has more feeling. Kick ass and chew bubble gum.

Your light touches on the shirt are incredible. I'm a writer, so I have no clue how you all do what you do. I suppose I'm a "I know what i like" sort, but I like to think that I can see something being done effectively. I love the tones you've used, that you grounded him with the black shirt underneath, that you only allowed a touch of the pants, which are just a bit more 'hot' than the rest. There's a wonderful balance and character to this. The hair is incredible to me, though it's a shaggy mass it's precisely shaggy. It twitches and fluffs and curls in the back. Like hair does. The collar, in reality I could go on for a while, but instead I'll just tell you how happy this made me. Made me long for something I suppose. your work is excellent, glad to have stumbled upon you.

I think I like this best out of your gallery-- it's much more 'real' to me; I guess I never could get used to coloring in the lines... I like the shadows a lot, and the lines are great too. This image almost touches realism, but I think one of the major things keeping it a cartoon is the gradient in the background, because the pretty even tones work on him since there is still a little bit of variation.
Great work though, out of all the cartoon type stuff I've seen on DA, I think yours has real artistic merit, which doesn't happen so often.

somebody up there said it reminded them of Gorillaz, and I see what they mean. The style is somewhat the same (although not quite as Gorillaz-ish as some of your other stuff), but I remember 2D wearing a jacket like that. Anyway, I faved this even before I went to comment on it.
