The original guitar smasher, Pete Townshend and his amazing flying abilities.I like the way this came out, except that I drew the head too big. I guess it's because I'm used to drawing caricatures. I tried to make his head a little more proportionate after I scanned it into the computer, but it took out some of the detail in the face. Plus I think it *still* might be too big.
Oh well, I still like it.

I agree that the head looks fine to me. With the way he is jumping his head could be out a little bit which would make it work anyway. I love the way you captured his appearance so perfectly and you did a great job with the coloring on top of the gorgeous drawing.

no way, he DOES have a huge head in real life! i saw the Who last summer, they rocked...Townsend came out, and they all got ready to go, and he swung his arm like a windmill, and *silence* his AMP wasn't on! 
He went up to the mike, after everyone laughed, and said, "FUCK OFF!" and the audience laughed again...once in a lifetime moment :sigh:
I still love the who, no matter what their sexual deviancies might be

Lively, fun & full of action. This is a great illustration. However, I'm not a fan of the background. I think actually, what would be best for this one would be just plain white, for two reasons: The lights/text are kinda placed in 'convienent' spots & they don't touch anything, bad composition;; & with a white background, that guitar cord will stick out more & the viewer would truly notice Pete flying through the air. Ah well, that's just the critic in me. This is awesome, I love the big head!

Looks good. I honestly cant tell if its too big. I think the messy hair and his big schnoz arent helping me decide. Looks just like him.
